The Murrells Inlet Rotary invites you to participate in the Rotary, “King of Murrells Inlet Fishing Challenge” scheduled for Friday, June 3^rd and Saturday June 4^th at Crazy Sister Marina, Murrells Inlet, SC.

This two day signature event raises money to continue Rotary’s support for community programs in Murrells Inlet, Georgetown County and Internationally. Again this year the Club will make a contribution to the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce “Choices” program and a portion of the funds raised will contribute to Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign. Finally and most importantly the bulk of the funds will be used in the Murrells Inlet area to support various community programs for underprivileged children along the South Strand.

Last year Murrells Inlet Rotarians committed more than $10,000 to programs in the local community. Some of our recent efforts include:

International End Polio Now campaign.
Providing dictionaries to 3^rd graders in the Georgetown County School System.
A donation to help maintain the “CHOICES “ program in Georgetown County Schools which teaches basic financial literacy to middle school students.
A Christmas shopping spree for needy children in the South Strand School Systems.

As we begin planning Rotary’s “2011 King of Murrells Inlet Fishing Challenge” we would like your support through sponsorship of the event with a monetary contribution. We attribute the success of our past fundraisers to the generosity of the many businesses and individuals who have joined our effort to serve the community.
